fall

It's the first day of fall and its Friday, could this day be any better? Like so many others Fall is by far my favorite season. I'm an October baby, it's in my blood. I love the cooler temps, the cozier clothes and all the activities that go along with it. Knitting is in full swing again and I went to my first football game of the season last Sunday. All that's left to do to get things kicked off is find something fall-like to bake this weekend and visit the apple orchard.

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!

snails and puppy dog tails

It's a little mister for the big sister. I had the sneaking suspicion beginning the day before the big ultrasound it was a boy. I'd close my eyes and just see blue, it was strange. Up until that day I just naively assumed it was another girl because all of Lucy's cousins are girls. Needless to say the Grandpa's are flyin' high on the news of a grandson. Hope everyone's having a great week!

pink or blue?

Boy or Girl? We should have our answer tomorrow and I'm so so so excited! I have my own gut feeling but we'll just have to wait and see if I'm right.

lauren/klein recap

Ralph Lauren has caught my eye this week. His Gatsby inspired Spring 2012 Collection showed so soft a beautiful on the runway. Did you see his ranch on Oprah this past spring? To. DIE. For. right?

Calvin Klein's Spring 2012 collection is so fresh and feminine. Love all the nude tones with splashes of black here and there.

okay...

So like I figured it was pure insanity at Target this morning. For some reason I had thought the store opened at 9am so when Lucy and I waltzed in I was a little surprised to see bare shelves and racks already- turns out they opened at 8am. We forged on though and found lots and lots of great items. Along the way I encountered ARMIES of women with 2-3 carts each piled high with this stuff. They were stealthy too, I overheard one woman on her cell phone talking to one of her friends at another Target location comparing notes.

The one thing I really wanted was the microfiber zig-zag throw which of course was gone. I decided it was worth venturing to the "scary" part of town to that Target to see if they might have it. As luck would have it they had two and I scooped them both up. When I got home I got online to see what was sold out and found the website still crashed.

Now don't go thinking I'm insane and all that stuff is for us. I've listed a lot of it HERE in case you need your fix too. So long for now, I'm pooped. I'm downing this coffee and hopping on the treadmill so I can sit down in time to watch the Flipping Out Reunion and of course TRZP.

Adios!

stuffy *sneezy*

....excuse my quietness this week. Our household has been trading colds and ickyness all week.
Poop-pleh!

I did manage to catch the season finale of Flipping Out last night and the season premiers of The Rachel Zoe Project and RHBH. I'm a fall t.v. junkie and make no bones about it. So glad my shows are slowly trickling back on. It's the little things people.

Hope you're all making it a great week!

1, 2, 3, 4...

I've been stuck on closets lately. It seems like no matter where we live the closet is always one of the things we end up compromising. This house was no different. We do have his and hers this time which I tried really hard to respect but he had so much unused space that I couldn't let go to waste. There is room to add on someday so until then a girl can dream
